Our NB-IoT & LTE-M platform supports the standard technologies NB-IoT and LTE-M (CAT-NB2 / CAT-M), which are integrated into the customer’s products or design new Smart IoT products according to the customer’s needs.
The two technologies each have their field of operation where NB-IoT is designed for the battery to last for many years with low data consumption which makes it suitable for Smart City sensors, energy meters and tracking devices. If a larger amount of data is required and power consumption is not so critical, LTE-M is better suited as with surveillance cameras and ‘voice’ products.
Our NB-IoT & LTE-M platform does also has Bluetooth Low Energy integrated, which enables you to directly connect to an app on a smartphone. This allows us to activate the device via an app and configure directly or read log files.
NB-IoT & LTE-M platform main features:
